Eli, the child-hero from my manga, Gehenna. This is my first take on a whole picture done in a more semi-realistic style. I won't lie, it took me way long to do this, but the challenge made it fun

I'd love some critiques on it, but I'd also like to say I purposely made his skin tone cooler, more into the purples and blues because he's a demon creature. Besides that, please critique away!

Please give me some tips on the anatomy as well as the hair... I have an awful time with making hair look more soft and less super cartoony, though I'd still like to stay in the semi-realism category. thanks to anyone that can offer some advice!

This has to be one of my favorite styles out there. (The semi-realistic manga style.) I love love love the way you drew the hair, and the skin tone is so perfect. This is a great angle, you have amazing anatomy drawing skills, I'm jealous, lol. I think the simple background really helps you to focus on the character. I wonder what she's looking at...Such a faraway look. So to sum it all up, a simply breathtaking picture. I've run out of things to say. . . Anyways, draw more amazing art! Good luck!
